Our Fire Safety Awareness course is designed as an introduction to fire awareness. It covers how fires can occur and best actions to take in the event of a fire. This is a foundation qualification or employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness and to undertake specific fire safety roles in the workplace.
For those employees who wish to train in becoming a fire warden/fire marshal. This course will cover general fire awareness, the causes of workplace fires, action in the event of a fire, fire fighting skills as well as how to plan evacuations and how to use, maintain and store fire extinguishers. You will also learn how to carry out fire risk assessments and an overview of fire warning systems.
The responsible person must—
(a)take such general fire precautions as will ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety of any of his employees; and
(b)in relation to relevant persons who are not his employees, take such general fire precautions as may reasonably be required in the circumstances of the case to ensure that the premises are safe.
The responsible person must ensure that his employees are provided with adequate safety training—
(a)at the time when they are first employed; and
